Growth To Be Found In Release

It’s not the winter the causes the leaves to turn, die and fall off. It’s the tree itself that does that. It intuitively senses that winter is coming, it feels that it must change & let go in order to stay healthy and keep growing through the changing seasons. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ It cuts off supply to the leaves, they die, and they fall off. This is a preservation mechanism to the tree too - if it held on to those leaves and didn’t let them die, the winter would rip them away causing damage & trauma to the tree.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ To those looking on from the outside, they feel the seasons change and conclude that fall & winter have harmed the tree and caused its leaves to die and fall away. It would be easy to assume that the tree was responding to the changing season. The truth, however, is that the tree is just doing what it does. It knows that seasons come and go, it knows that there’s a time to let old parts of it fall away. Parts that served it so well in a different time, but would bring harm to it in this coming season. It knows there is beauty in letting go, there is growth to be found in release and that no matter what, if it follows its intuition in the very moment, even if it seems painful or looks crazy to the outside, it is doing what it was put here on this earth to do. It is fully in purpose. And eventually, fresh new leaves of growth will bud again, and the season will change. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Sometimes there are things in our life that we know we need to let go off, but we hold on, we are scared to cut off the supply to those parts and let them fall away. Sometimes it’s because we have just become so accustomed to them being there, we don’t know what we’d be without it... sometimes we are scared to let go because of what that might mean, or look like to the outside. But know, there is growth in letting these things go. Big growth. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ No season lasts forever. All we have is this very moment, and if we can lean in all the way, there is beauty to be found. In our times of growth and in our times of release, embrace it all. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Show up. Moment after moment.⁣⁣ All of you is welcome here. No matter what season you’re in, or what stage of growth. You are in purpose.
